Raycast: can’t live without it. Floating notes are a killer feature.
Development
Cursor: Code editor. Windsurf was too buggy.
SAAS Products
Slack: I think there’s a midwit meme for slack somewhere. It’s amazing. Centralize notifications etc. The footguns around slack are the same ones for notion. Sprawl. I’ll write about this at some point.
Figma: Most people use it wrong. Design systems are non-trivial to implement in Figma, but are profoundly useful.
Rewind.ai — Always running on my mac
Notion — I think this is a bit dangerous but I’ve learned over the years how to use it well. Avoid sprawl. You actually only need a handful of databases, and just use a memo archive.
linear.app — Best PM app period.
Attio: Best CRM. They’re going to be the data layer for customer data not too long from now. Salesforce should acquire them while they still can.
Misc.
Common Paper — great
Clerky — Great for incorporation for first-time founders and companies. Eventually it’s just better to incorporate with great lawyers from the start.
